A THEATRE CONCERT AT SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL 2018

Brass players, ballet dancers and a haute-contre tenor adopt a playful approach and use non-traditional methods when they meet in the open air for this year’s in‑house production ‘Shakespeare in Concert’ at Kronborg Castle.

The neoclassical and ground-breaking trombonist and composer Elias Faingersh took the public by storm when he guested at the Shakespeare Festival in 2016. He is now returning, this time in the musical and artistic company of the Dania Brass Ensemble, ballet dancers from The Royal Danish Ballet and one of the world’s few haute-contre tenors, Valdemar Villadsen. Together they explore William Shakespeare’s fabulous universe and challenge what we think we know. Treat yourself to a surprise in the open air at this year’s Shakespeare Festival!
