Summer school

Summer school

“Imagination, immersion and fun”

At HamletScenen’s summer school, the children learn how to make their own puppets, and these will take centre stage in the story of, for example, Romeo and Juliet. Through various exercises, the children will immerse themselves in the experience of how to make a puppet come alive, move and talk, and they will try to act with the puppets in various ways. It is only one’s own imagination that limits what a puppet can do. Parents and siblings are invited for a viewing on the last day at 2:30 p.m.

No prior experience is required to participate in the workshop. The most important thing is that you have the desire and courage to meet new people, to have a fun day full of creativity, and to explore the world of theatre a good and safe environment.
